英語の「one of the」+ 最上級 + 複数名詞の意味と使い方

形：one of the + 最上級 + 複数名詞
意味：最も〜な…の 1 つ（1 人）
「最も〜な…のうちの 1 つ」と、いちばん上のほうのグループに入ることを表します。後ろの名詞は複数形にします。

形の作り方

長い語one of the most + 形容詞 + 複数名詞one of the most famous singers
主語になるときOne of the ～ + isOne of the boys is my friend.

  • Kyoto is one of the most beautiful cities in Japan.
    京都は日本で最も美しい都市の 1 つです。
  • Ken is one of the tallest boys in our class.
    健はクラスで最も背の高い男子の 1 人です。
  • Is this one of the biggest lakes in the world?
    これは世界で最も大きい湖の 1 つですか。

使い方のポイント

  • one of のあとの名詞は複数形です。one of the best player ではなく players とします。
  • 主語のときは one が中心なので、動詞は単数の形にします（One of the students is ～）。

正解：3. the most

one of the + 最上級 + 複数名詞 で「最も信頼される業者の 1 つ」なので「the most」。most だけでは the が無く、one of のあとに続けられません。
